Sailor Moon Gashapon

Ok, who in here likes Sailor Moon? Raise your hands. I got these in, I believe, the first anime con that I'd gone to. I prefer the outer senshi so they're the only ones I have.

Toy vending machines are generally bad for my health. The randomness of it all either keeps you playing for the thrill and/or the obsession to get the toy you want that the machine keeps refusing to spit out.

This is the Sailor Moon I had actually gotten in a gashapon machine in Japan during a family visit a year prior to getting the outer senshi set I have above. I also had a Sailor Mars that I ended up leaving behind for my cousin. Lucky me for having a virtually empty wallet or I would have obsessively kept playing until I got the set.

I had always liked anime but that one rare visit to my aunt, during that glorious summer, is probably one of the best summers of my life. I'd never been exposed to so much anime and toys. I was in heaven!

Here's another Sailor Moon doll I brought home. If my memory serves me correctly, we got her at Seiyu. She was randomly displayed in a case with a bunch of video games and such. My aunt saw me looking at her so she got it for me.

Here's Sailor Uranus from the same anime con I got the gasha Sailor Senshi figures. It was either I didn't have enough money to get Sailor Neptune with her or there was no Sailor Neptune to go with her. Most likely the latter though I'm not a hundred percent sure.
